I’ve been a Birch Box subscriber for 3 months now. As a little birthday present to myself, I signed up in April. So far I have loved every item in each box. I have received some things that I didn’t even know existed.
I thought, to celebrate their 5th birthday, I would write a post about what I have received in this months box and should it receive a good response, I may make it a monthly thing, so please do let me know if you enjoy this post and would like to see more.
Happy 5th Birthday Birchbox!
This month I received a keepsake tin with my little beauty goodies in and it’s adorable. Just look how cute it is.
Here’s what I received this month;
Ella Eden, compact eye shadow in shade Julia.
I used this the other evening and have to say I love it. It sits so nicely in the eyes, it’s dewy but not heavy. It’s a beautifully subtle, every day kind of eye shadow which is perfect for me as I’m not a big eye shadow kind of girl.
Benefit, POREfessional Pearl Primer.
This product feels lovely and light on the skin. I wore it under make up and noticed that my make up didn’t go greasy during the day, it was also 21 degrees that day.
Number 4, Jour d’automne Smoothing Balm.
I’m yet to use this, though it is a hair balm for any hair type, used for minimising frizz and protects against heat damage. To be used on damp hair.
Pro Blo Group, MaskMe Hydrating Hair Mask.
I had a little pamper on Sunday evening with this little gem, my hair genuinely did feel like satin as stated. I put it on after showering and shampooing and wrapped a towel around my head for about 90 minutes.
Polaar, Velvety Sun Fluid Face & Body.
I had a little go of this the other day also, when the sun decided to play out. It feels so light in comparison to other sun creams that I have used. It doesn’t have a particularly nice smell to it though.
Little Extra; Whittard of Chelsea Teabags.
I have only tried the mango and Bergamot and the Lemon and Ginger so far, but both were lovely.
Thank you Birchbox for cheering me up every month with a little box of treats, to me from me.
Let me know, if you would like to see what’s in my Birchbox again, or if it’s not really your thing.
