Grab a cuppa for this one, it’s going to be a little hefty!
Since I’ve been away from the blogging community, so much has happened!
I am going to try my absolute best to write this in a way that you don’t bore of reading or feel like you’re reading a novel.
If you are following me on Instagram, you are probably very up to date. If you aren’t and feel like you could show me some love, find me here.
I hate to start this on a sad note, however my last post, posted on 02.02.18 was the day that we sadly lost a dear family member, my Nan, AKA Nanny Peg.
After suffering with the awful disease that is cancer she gained her wings and was no longer in pain, I still miss her like crazy and would do anything for one more cuppa with her😔💔
The day before this, my Mum decided that she wanted to give back to Macmillan Cancer Support after beating cancer herself at a young age, losing a close friend and then watching her own Mum slowly lose the battle, she decided that she would ‘Brave The Shave’ and she did just that! On 6th May 2018 my courageous, extremely selfless Mamma had her head shave raising an incredible amount of just over £6,200 for charity.
Personally other than the day I gave birth to my pride and joy, this was the proudest day in my life. There were tears of sadness and tears of joy. But my Mamma still looks incredible, hair or no hair.
We had Mother’s day, which was lovely, as my first mother’s day was only 4 days after giving birth and so everything was still a little up in the air adjusting to Mum life takes a little longer than some may think.
So this Mother’s day, Noah’s daddy went all out and really spoiled me. Though I have to say that my favourite thing of all was my map of the stars from the time and date that Noah arrived in the World, the whole reason I am a Mamma, I am yet to get a frame for this, I promise it is on my to do list.
I had a birthday… 2️⃣4️⃣
However, the older you get the more underwhelming they become. And once you’ve had a little one, they become even less about you. Though I wouldn’t have it any other way. My birthday was spent at the park with Noah and his daddy, and the evening was spent with my immediate family having dinner in the sunshine, which was gorge!
I do have a ’24 things I learnt in 24 years’ post coming soon also!
Noah had a Birthday!!🎉
That was a whole lot more exciting!
Noah turned ONE! We had heaps of fun at soft play on the day and as it fell on a Thursday we had a party for him on the Sunday and it was just all kinds of wonderful! But I’ll do a ‘My baby turned ONE’ post on this, where there will be tons of pictures because I think we celebrated for about 5 days! 😍
We booked our first family holiday…eeeeek! So we will be jetting to the sunny Canary islands in September, first time baby in tow. I can only imagine the stress that is going to come with this, I guess it’s all part of the parenting fun ey?
However what is extra cute about this is, we’re going to the same place that Lewis and I went to on our very first holiday together 7 years ago… cute right.
Any tips for travelling with a toddler for the first time would be welcome and greatly appreciated!
Also, when is the appropriate time to start a Holiday countdown?💁🏻♀️
Well I think I’ve pretty much caught you all up with the main events in my life over the last 3 months, hope I didn’t bore you too much.
